When I am out harvesting or scouting etc I usually keep my dinos on neutral so if I get attacked and killed they have a chance to defend themselves. For narco berries. Once you have a trike that should be enough to gather all the berries you need until you can get a bronto.Tbh, the best way is to setup a greenhouse, put small crop plots in and plant narco seeds.
