The three main factors that have me considering another 26 are lower recoil, cheaper ammo and availability of factory glock threaded barrels rather than aftermarket only for the 30S. The thing that keeps me coming back to the 30S is that I feel more secure with 10 rounds of .45 ACP than 11 rounds of 9mm.The G23 has more felt recoil, due to the cartridge, only. The G30SF is a GREAT shooting pistol and VERY accurate, even with CCI Blazer (aluminum) 230 gr FMJ, at 15 yards. (I test the accuracy of a 'social' handgun at 15 yards.)
