Doctorate of clinical laboratory science salary

DCLS cannot replace pathologists, because pathologists are MDs who have completed residencies, and they can bill for their work. DCLS can be laboratory director, however, and be paid as a staff/faculty. However, they cannot bill for their work, and any clinical work that they do would still require an MD sign off.
