The AutoShift needs to have the rolling inertia from the vehicle. If the dyno has too much drag the rear wheels slow down to fast. This is why the AutoShift will not shift. The only time the AutoShift will shift automatically is when the input shaft speed is 300 rpm over rated speed of the engine.
