Gmc acadia stabilitrak issues
2012 Acadia. Service stabilitrac, traction control and check engine light come on together whenever they want to for no certain reason then a very rough idle and smoke our the tailpipe. Ita happened a few times in the past 6 months normally if I turn it off and wait 15 min it clears up however this time it wont. Anyone with knowledge please help.2007 GMC Acadia SLT. 120K Miles. Issue started as Stabilitrak and traction control off.... did not indicate reduced engine power. I looked up some common remedies that made sense. I cleaned the Throttle Body and MAF with approved and proper spray chemical. Upon doing so I cracked the Evap Control Module plastic tube.Possible that over time--- porosity in the spark plug tubes-- caused slight pooling of oil or coolant. when you removed the plug- the oil/coolant went into the cylinder. the smoke you saw- was the liquid being burned off. Coolant I believe is the one that blows white. and oil- dark smoke. 2023 Traverse LT 3.6L 15,000.
