2014 Odyssey Auto sliding door cable snapped HELP! My wife's Odyssey's passenger side auto sliding rear door cable snapped the other week. I found the cable replacement from a aftermarket parts department but now I cant find anyone to install it. The Honda tech in my area wants to replace the entire assembly including motor and tracks for over $1K.Now remove the pulley by removing the 10mm nut in the center. The pulley is made up of 2 pieces, an inner and an outer pulley. The rear cable wraps around the outer, and the front cable wraps around the inner, which then leads around the outer. Remove the damaged cables. There is a switch that gets pressed wheb the door closes and gets pilled in. Ether the switch is bad or your door may not be pulled all the way in when closed.
