Is mksap enough for abim
Failed ABIM, please advise. This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you. I have failed my ABIM cert. And I failed miserably. Mostly scared that I didn't know that I was able to do such poorly on a standardized test. 1.The boards really isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. I was <50th percentile for all my in services and passed comfortably with 4 weeks of good studying. I did do all of mksap and most of UW. I would say mksap is closer in format to the real thing, but the questions are slightly easier. UW is a bit too hard and nitpicky, but definitely ... Thanks. I did all of that years MKSAP and I did about 2/3 of UWorld for the ABIM exam. UWorld is trickier but helps hammer in some of the more difficult concepts. Passed quite comfortably and probably overdid it in the end. The only book I read was the Board Basics book that came with MKSAP (which is gold).
