Isx blowing coolant out overflow but not overheating

I have a 95 f250 with a 460. I had coolant come out of the overflow bottle after sitting for a couple minutes. Has only happened one time but dont want to chance harming the engine. New water pump and thermostat 700 miles ago. Truck doesnt overheat. Drained oil to check for coolant, no coolant in oil.
