The mag release on the Dagger is a very sharp small square and not very ergonomically friendly. The mag release spring is also very stiff making the release hard to push. The iron sights that come with the slide are plain black irons both front and rear.PSA improved the ergonomics of the Glock by including an undercut under the trigger guard, a more aggressive beavertail, and a massive magazine release. I doubt the issue is the OEM Glock 17 magazine… I think we can strike that one. That leaves the PSA Dagger, or the Brownells mag release. Maybe I got a mag release that slipped by QA/QC. Same issue. 100 mag inserts, 50+ catches. Put stock PSA mag release back in, no issues. 100 mag inserts, zero (0) catches. Either PSA design is an issue, or Brownells sent me a cheap Chinese knock-off. Why someone would knock off a $5 part, I have no idea. But hey, I’m just the messenger.
