Colourpop eyeshadow palettes are great! I used to use MAC but it is SO dry and doesn't blend nearly as well as CP. I don't like any of the other CP products I've tried though. Yes, it's completely normal for it to look fake, due to the lighting and everything else going on, it doesn't look bad on camera. I found a technique that works, I don't over-apply foundation or concealer. I love colorful eyeshadow, but I do it in natural lighting, so it looks fine in natural lighting. Yea…. A “wetter”, more creamy product will most likely lift any powder product off your face.
