Very recently I 100% completed Read Dead Redemption 2, and I like many others found the Hunting Requests and Exotics incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Morning seemed to be the best spawn time. Later after this quest i was hunting for iguana at the islands west of Rhodes and there was lot of exotics flying around. Remember to look at the sky as well! For the orchids i used the rdr2 map and found them quite easily.Exotics quest.
