As said in Osana's release video, the development philosophy was " [focusing] on functionality first and foremost" which is why the game looks objectively bad, and subjectively, horrible. Its not inconsistent- its just different hair and eye color, IMO its too consistent. Yandere Simulator, on the other hand, has barely progressed one chapter (Osana) in 8 years, and I'd compare the 80's mode more to a single event from Genshin Impact. It's like if Genshin was released 8 years ago and they just now released Mondstat's main story's final chapter and had one windblume event, and nothing more. 3.
