The tank hangs down 5.5" below the bottom of the rear crossmember/bumper. This is about even with the bottom of my rear shackles. About the in-tank fuel pump, my grand cherokee has one. Probably worth bringing up here that if you use the S10 Flex Fuel filter and regulator the 5/16 is the inlet and the 3/8 is the return, if you use the Corvette fuel filter and regulator they are opposite (i.e the 3/8 is the inlet, and the 5/16 is the return). Don't know why, but a search will turn ...looks like the metal tank that was on there, 18 gallons I believe. the fuel sending unit and lock ring, and on advance auto's website, I had 1999 GMC 4.8, and 2000 s10 4.3, in the vehicle search, and its the same lock ring, 32 gallon tank ring, but it fits. Hybrid S10 Fuel Pump Assembly - Still working to finish this up, what I've done is removed the old S10 return-style fuel pump from the housing itself, and replaced it with a 99-01 Explorer 5.0L returnless style fuel pump & in-tank regulator. Still have to redo the wiring for the Ford harness to replace the GM one, but it shouldn't be a huge feat.Feb 15, 2011 · They are two different height pumps, the 20 gallon pump will not fit in the 13.2, trust me. The s-10 pump will fit but you have to use the blazer sending unit as it is made for the tank. The s10 sending unit is to tall. Like.
