STARTALK offers students (K–16) and teachers of these languages creative and engaging online learning and summer experiences that exemplify best practices in language education and in language teacher development. The programs use the themes of storytelling and gaming to engage students in a highly motivated learning experience.STARTALK is a language immersion program launched in 2006. It is designed to help more Americans learn languages like Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Persian, and Russian.startalk is a federal grant program funded by the National Security Agency (NSA) with the objective of increasing the number of U.S. citizens learning and teaching less commonly taught languages.
